Bolton Spring Farms is a local orchard where you can "pick your own fruit" in season. The Farm opens late August through the holidays. Bolton Spring Farms also has a farm store featuring their own produce, along with their famous "apple blossoms" and apple cider. On weekends they provide hayrides and pumpkin picking rides. They are located on 117 east of The International.

The Museum of Russian Icons - Clinton, Massachusetts
The Museum of Russian Icons is located approximately two miles from The International Golf Club and Resort in Clinton. The Founded in 2006 as a non-profit
educational institution by Massachusetts industrialist, Gordon B.
Lankton, the collection includes more than 400 Russian icons, the
largest collection of its kind in North America, and one of the largest
private collections outside Russia. The collection spans six centuries,
and includes important historical paintings dating from the earliest
periods of icon “writing” to the present.

Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge - Harvard, Massachusetts
Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge (NR) is located in north- central, Harvard, Massachusetts, approximately 35 miles northwest of Boston, MA. The refuge lies within the towns of Ayer and Shirley in Middlesex County and the towns of Harvard and Lancaster in Worcester County. The refuge consists of approximately 1,667 acres of upland, southern New England flood-plain forest, and wetland communities along nearly 8 miles of the Nashua River corridor. Take advantage of the many nature trails available on this National Reserve.

Liberty Hill Equestrian Facility - Lancaster, Massachusetts
Horseback riding can be found just minutes away from the International Golf Resort, at Liberty Hill, an equestrian facility located on a pristine country estate in Lancaster. Members and visitors to The International have been using this wonderful facility for many years. Visits are available by appointment by contacting our reception desk at The International or calling Liberty Hill directly.
Davis' Farmland - Sterling, Massachusetts
Davis' Farmland is a children's petting farm, along with various activities such as hay rides, demonstrations, playgrounds and sprinkler park. Located in Sterling Massachusetts, Davis' Farmland is fun for all ages! During the Fall Season Davis' re-opens it's ever-changing MegaMaze, which is great for all ages, including older kids and adults.
Animal Adventures - - Bolton, Massachusetts
Animal Adventures, recently nominated for a 2009 Nickelodeon's Parents' Picks Award is also located in Bolton. This educational facility offers special animal shows on an ongoing basis, which can be found on their web site.
Fairs and Events
The Bolton Fair, held each year in Lancaster/Bolton, is a traditional New England fair with animal exhibits and shows, crafts, artisans, entertainers, a midway, and a farmer’s market. The Fair draws attendees from all over New England and is one of the few remaining Fairs to focus on agriculture and animals. The Fair is located off Route 117 at the Bolton Fairgrounds, in Lancaster Massachusetts.

is a small ski area which is extremely family friendly and within 15
minutes from the International located just off 495 in Westford MA. For

offers a variety of night and day skiing.
