The International is a world-class golf destination and resort, with its own, very special golf and social club.
While The International welcomes the public to enjoy all its facilities, access to the golf courses is restricted to members of The Golf Club, guests of The Lodge and Spa, special event guests and guests of The GolfRite Academy.
We encourage the public to come check out Chef Brenner's world-class cooking at our Fireplace Room restaurant, stay in our quaint and comfortable Lodge & Spa, host an event or celebration, or fine tune your game with world class instruction at either the GolfRite Academy or Taylor-Made Lab. All available to the public.
The International is a privately owned set of businesses, under the "umbrella" of "The International", while the golf club is often referred to as "The International Golf Club," or "IGC".
The Golf Club and other businesses rely on each other, creating enormous operating efficiencies while providing a form of revenue diversity in more challenging economic environments.
This mode of operation/business model has been a significant advantage to all participants.
Our core businesses are the golf & social club business, the special event business, the restaurant business, the lodge & spa business, Twin Springs family friendly 9-hole public golf course and cafe, and the Oak Trail real estate development project on Ballville Road. Together, these make up the profit centers, or businesses, of The International.
Our property consists of almost 700 acres. Our facilities include two championship 18-hole golf courses (Trent-Jones and Fazio), world class practice facilities (Fazio), a public nine-hole track and cafe, a main event hall and kitchen for special and private functions with panoramic views of the courses, a grill room restaurant also overlooking the ever changing vistas and colors of the courses, the world renowned Taylor-Made Performance Lab for state of the art fitting and swing analysis, the quaint 50 room Lodge & Spa, Fitness Center with personal fitness trainers available, GolfRite Academy for personal or class instruction, Cigar Lounge to relax and many other offerings from our numerous local partners including Still River Outfitters for all kinds of outdoor adventures, both on property and off, Nashoba Valley Winery for locally inspired wines, Century Mill Stables for horseback riding and The Russian Icon Museum, Fruitlands Museum and Tower Hill Botanical Gardens for a little culture.
We renovated, updated and opened the lodge to the public last year and began offering lodge guests the opportunity to play the golf courses while a guest of The Lodge.
This year, with the arrival of Chef Brenner, we have opened The Fireplace Room restaurant to the public, with lots of new changes to come this Fall, including live entertainment and Sunday Brunch's.
